Lavinia 'Vini' S. Bellusci, 91, of Parkland, FL entered into eternal rest on Friday July 19, 2024. Her husband of 63 years, Joseph V. Bellusci, passed away in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Scala, son in law Jerry Scala and her beloved grandchildren Nicholas, Jack, TJ and Luke.

Vini was born on December 11, 1932 in Pauling, New York to her parents Irene and Towner Smalley. Her brother Roy and sister Janet have passed away. Vini is survived by sister Patty Campana and brother Douglas. After finishing her high school degree, she was a model for Lord and Taylor prior to beginning work with the Nestle Corporation for many years. When Joe returned from the Korean War back to Westchester County, NY he and Vini were introduced and were married on Halloween, 1953. They resided in Mount Kisco, NY, where Diane was born, until the family moved to Connecticut. There she held numerous office management positions until she and Joe retired to Florida. Once settled, she again started working full time until the age of 83 when she finally retired for good. Since then, she had been active in the lives of her grandchildren, the Parkland Library, St. Vincent DePaul at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church and generously supported several Military Veteran charities.

In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made to any Military Veterans charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on July 26, 2024 from 9:00AM-10:00AM, with a Funeral Service to follow at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church at 11:00AM. Burial will be held privately for her immediate family.
