Lauren Nicole Ponzio, 33, of Parkland, FL passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2016. Born in Columbus, Ohio to Jeffrey and Laurel George, she was raised in Blauvelt, New York then met her beloved Anthony in Westchester County, New York. Lauren and Anthony relocated to Coconut Creek, FL before settling in Parkland, FL.

Lauren was a bubbly, outgoing woman with an incredible smile. She had a huge heart and always cared for those who were less fortunate. She had a love of cooking, great books, and the latest beauty tips. Lauren was always interested in science and space. Her true passion, however, was her children; being a mom meant the world to her.

Lauren is survived by her husband of 3 years, Anthony; children, Luca John and Olivia Josephine; her mother, Laurel Giardiello and Stepfather John Giardiello; her sisters, Lindsey George and Kristen M. Giardiello; and her niece, Alexandra (Lexy) Peters. Also left to cherish her memory are her In-Laws, Joseph and Josephine Ponzio, brother-in-law, Frank Ponzio; and her beloved Dachsund, Paisan.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a Service to begin at 4:00 P.M.
