Laona was born in Michigan on January 20th, 1938 and entered into eternal peace on October 20th, 2022. She is survived by her children Patricia Rossi, David Cline and Jeffrey Cline; Her grandchildren Nicholas Rossi, Patrick Rossi, Angela Osipov, Matthew Cline, Nathan Cline and Madison Cline; and Her great-grandchildren Dominick Rossi, Angelo Osipov, Brielle Rossi, Jaxson Rossi, Daniel Rossi and Viktor Osipov, and her sister Janette Sann.

Laona was a world traveler. Her love of nature drew her to Alaska, which became her favorite destination. She loved Babies, dancing, singing, Elvis, Boston crème donuts and anything with dark chocolate!! She loved to dress up, the more glamorous the better! Her passion was her family, her favorite holiday was Christmas and red was her favorite color.

She was a strong and loving woman who was known for her generosity and compassion. She shared her wisdom, courage and strength with us throughout her life, especially through the hard times. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was there for each of us, no matter what.

She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her and to share in her journey. She rose above every situation and obstacle that came her way and her love will forever be with each of us and always be carried in our hearts and never forgotten.

We were so truly blessed to have had such an amazing mother to guide and teach us. Now it is our turn to take her lead and make her an even prouder mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

We will always cherish her memory, laughter and sense of humor.
