Kurt Robert Rowles was born July 2, 1958, in Muncie, Indiana, to Robert and Helen Fraze Rowles. He went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 17, 2012, in Broward County, Fl. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Rowles, and motherHelen Fraze Rowles. He is survived by sister Deborah (Mrs. Paul Ragsdale) Coral Springs, Fl. Brother Jeffrey Rowles (wife Vique) Margate, Fl. Sister Denise Rowles, North Lauderdale, Fl. Nephews Joshua Rowles, Matthew Rowles. Nieces Andrea Rowles, Christina Ragsdale. Kurt graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1976. Upon graduation he entered the printing industry which led him to employment in Wisconsin, and Washington, as well as Florida. Kurt's passion was stock car racing. He worked on pit crews for several drivers at local tracks in south and central Florida. Of course he became an avid fan of NASCAR. Kurt was a great son. He was the primary care giver to our father and mother, in their latter years. He was also a wonderful brother and friend. He had such a big, big heart always helping out where ever needed. He would truly give you the shirt off his back if he needed to. Many times he did. At times he would give even if it meant, him doing without. Yes there were even times when people would take advantage of him. But that never stopped him. He always continued to give. If you asked Kurt to help, he would be there. If he didn't know how to do it he would still give it a go. He was always trying to bring laughter and fun into everyone's life. He had a line for everything. His favorite job was the Merchant Marines, where he worked out of New Orleans, and Tampa to Puerto Rico. Because of a back injury he could no longer do that type of work. His other favorite job was working as a security guard in Orlando, Fl., where he was working until the time of his illness. Kurt loved all of his family and friends, and there are many. Through Kurt's acts of love and kindness we were surely touched by the love of God. He will be missed by all. Memorial service will be officiated by Rev.
