Kevin F. Hatton, 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, in Parkland, Florida, surrounded by family. Kevin was born on November 7, 1964 in Cranston, Rhode Island to Laurence and Mary Hatton. Kevin was the beloved husband of Damarys, and loving father to his two children, Nicole and Kevin Jason. Kevin also loved our family dog Bella, and she loved him very much, too. Kevin worked very hard throughout the years, pursuing his dream to become a business owner, which he achieved when he founded Hatton Electric, Inc. He was always very proud of his company and his employees. Kevin's favorite sport was football, and he was the Miami Dolphins biggest fan. Aside from enjoying his Sunday football game, his second favorite sport had to be tailgating before Dolphins' home games. Kevin was an excellent cook and enjoyed all the festivities before the game. Kevin enjoyed the Florida weather, especially in the last few years, he loved the serenity of the beach in the early morning. Kevin's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, very traditionally and with all the fixings. He always enjoyed the company of friends and neighbors. Up until the very end, Kevin was very strong. He found comfort in reading inspirational books. Kevin will be greatly missed by all of us. We will always love him and keep him in our hearts. He was taken away too soon from this world. This is not "good bye" to our beloved Kevin, it is just a "see you later". Kevin is survived by his wife and his two children in Parkland, Florida, his mother and father in Providence, Rhode Island, his two brothers Keith and Ken and his sister, Kim, and by all of his cousins and friends.
