Kathryn Luise Brewster was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1981 in Cuckfield Hospital, West Sussex, England and passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Coral Springs, Florida, USA. She is survived by her father Graham, her mother Rosemary and brother Matthew, all of Coral Springs.

Kathryn, who liked to be called Kate, was raised in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England until the age of seven. Her first school was St Andrew Church of England School from the age of four and she graduated from Fairfield High School, Connecticut. Her grandmothers, aunts and uncle, along with our friends, adored her. She was a beautiful fun-loving little girl. Anna, Karen, Nicola, Marie and Louise were her closest friends.

In 1988 Kate and her family moved to Fairfield, Connecticut, USA to a new life and new friends. She and Matt soon made friends with the children in Rockland Road. They were Kevin, Brendan, Jack, Jimmy, Leslie Ann and also David who lived nearby.

Kate enjoyed playing in a Little League team. She loved to play the piano and learned the saxophone at Middle School. She loved all animals and adored her cat Tinkerbell, also known as "Bubsy". She enjoyed cooking. She looked forward to the occasional trips back to England to see family and friends.

Her early twenties were spent in and around Fairfield working as a teacher's assistant with autistic children and as a Nanny.

Her parents had moved to Florida in the early 90's and eventually Kate, along with her brother Matt, came to live as a family unit again. Kate was a passenger in a car accident in April 2019 that left her seriously injured and on life support for several weeks. Her recovery was slow and painful. Lately she decided that she would like to return to college and become qualified to work with animals.

Kate always thought of those that had fallen on hard times and needed help. It was only recently that she discussed her concerns that more and more families faced becoming homeless due to the Covid 19 epidemic.
