Kathleen Belle Anderson, 64, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born November 24, 1949 in Tucson, AZ. Kathy was a very funny, charismatic, upbeat woman that prided herself on the love she extended to all who knew her. Her love was always unconditional and she was renowned for being a giving and unselfish woman. Kathy also held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. One of her favorite pasttimes was playing golf and she recently began knitting. Kathy also greatly enjoyed the company of others which enticed her to become a member of American Legion post 157 and Red Hat Society. Kathy is survived by her son, Richard "Troy" (Robin) Dixon; her grandchildren, Matthew and Morgan Dixon; and her siblings, Marie (Paul) Anderson-Miller, Patricia Estes, John "Rusty" Huddleston, and Roxie Anderson. She also leaves her best friend, Sandy, and her dog, Phoebie to cherish her memory. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Deloris and Walter Anderson. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, where a Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. Kathy will be laid to rest in Arizona with her parents.
