Justa Colon, of Pompano Beach, was called home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. Justa was born 88 years ago on the island of Puerto Rico, and her memorable life touched many people. She was the pillar to her family that meant everything to her and, she devoted all of her time and energy caring for her family. Anyone who knew Justa was aware of her loyalty to "la familia," which manifested her words, deeds, and actions. Justa was preceded in death by her husband, Cecilio and her sons Alfredo and Luis and she is survived by her children: Cecilio of Lackawaxen, PA; Nancy Rodriguez and Evelyn Rodriguez of Coconut Creek, FL; Carmen Natal of Sunrise, FL; and, Edwin Colon, of Pompano Beach, FL. Her legacy that she leaves us, is her family that is spread throughout the globe, and she was proud to share with the world that she has 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren.
