June Smith, 54, of Margate passed away August 21st after a long battle with cancer. She became a Registered Nurse over 30 years ago and worked in several hospitals in the Caribbean. Born in Grenada, she then migrated to Jamaica before ultimately settling in the United States. She was a member of Community Christian Church in Tamarac and was known for her passion for interior decorating, gardening, traveling and shopping. She touched many with her contagious laugh, big heart, and fighting spirit. She's also described as loyal, generous, compassionate, spiritual, lively, and "direct" as she was quick to speak her mind. She leaves behind her loving daughter Nicole and son-in-law Dennis; brothers Jason Robertson, Erle Robertson, Lyndon Robertson; sister Jenifer Guy-Renwick, and mother Merlyn Robertson.
