Julio Pagan, 86, of Margate, FL died on Friday, September 19, 2014. Julio was born on May 5, 1928 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Juan and Pilar Pagan. Julio was a free spirit that loved to ride motorcycles and was a car fanatic. He loved music and especially enjoyed dancing Latin salsa. Julio always had a quick joke and knew how to keep things light even in tough situations. A man from humble beginnings, he never lost sight of where he came from and strived to be a kind-hearted and generous man. He never had a bad thing to say about others and instilled his beliefs in his children. For the last 45 years he cared for his beautiful bride and took her 5 children under his wing as well. Julio is survived by his beloved wife, Herminia Pagan; children, Luz Ortiz, Daisy Ginebra, Annette Drury, Nelson Vazquez, Julio Pagan, Jr., Lourdes Pagan and Clarebelle Pagan; his daughter-in-law & sons-in-law, Patricia Pagan, Hugo Ortiz, Rafael Ginebra, Carmen Vazquez, John Drury; and his grandchildren, Lizzette, Orlando, Venus, Alex, Santino, Rachel, Deanna, Miranda, Gabriel, Merissa, Jaceil, Judy Ann, Abdiel, Leniel, Kelvin, Bricciera, and Adlai. He was preceded in death by his sons, Hector Pagan and Ramon Vazquez. The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
