Julia "Judy" McKeone, 70, of Margate, FL passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 30, 1945, she was one of two children to Edmund and Elizabeth Barron.

Judy met the love of her life, John, in Cape May, NJ and they were married in 1966. The couple remained in Cape May for nearly 20 years before relocating to the Coral Springs area. Judy was always involved in her community. She was honored with title of Little League President and after retirement she served on the MAC board with the City of Margate. Every Christmas she held a toy fundraiser and went to local businesses asking for a bicycle donation to give to the less fortunate.

Judy was a fiesty woman, full of love and loyalty. She was kind to everyone and loved to feed those who entered her home. Judy may not have been a wealthy woman, but she was certainly rich in everyway. She will long be honored and celebrated for all she did.

Survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, John; her children, Beth (James) Griffis and Brad (Amber) McKeone; and her grandchildren, James, Bronson, Kimberly and Blake. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Barron.

Visiting hours will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 5:00 P.M.
