Judi Michelle Hardy-Farabee, 55, of Royal Palm Beach, FL died unexpectedly on Friday, January 31, 2014. Michelle was born September 6, 1958 in Sheffield, AL to William and Katherine Hardy. Originally from the tricities area of Northwest Alabama, Michelle relocated to South Florida 20 years ago with her husband. She was a 25 year veteran of the retail sales industry, an avid traveler, scuba diver, boater, and gardener. Michelle was an extrememly vivacious young woman and will long be remembered for being loving, giving, kind hearted, and a wonderful wife. She fought Multiple Sclerosis long and hard for 15 years before succumbing to her illness. Michelle is survived by her husband, John W. Farabee; her sisters, Shelayne Thompson, Jean Richardson, Rebecca Johnson; and her brother, Thomas Hardy. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Kendra Linn, Debbie Neyman Thompson, Tre Thompson, Mark Thompson, David Richardson, Todd Richardson, John Neyman, Britt Neyman and Bill Countiss to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine Hardy, her twin sister, Maressa Hardy, and her sister, Linda Neyman. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. Michelle will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, Alabama, next to her twin sister.
