Juan Rivera Jorge, 84, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on July 06, 2015 at Broward Health Coral Springs. Juan was born on July 26, 1930 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Juan Rivera Rodriguez and Fructuosa Jorge Toledo. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emma; his children, Juan Jr., Milagros, Magaly, Geraldo, Isabel, Martin, and Carlos; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Juan joined the Army in Puerto Rico and after he was honorably discharged he traveled to New York with his family. In 1994, the Rivera Jorge family made their home in Coral Springs, FL. A man of the outdoors, he enjoyed the time he spent fishing, particularly off the Deerfield Beach Pier or in the local ponds. Juan was also a very talented artist and would draw masterpieces in his free time. There was always time for watching boxing; but most importantly, Juan was a family man that put play time with his grandchildren above all else.

On Saturday, July 11, 2015, the family will receive guests from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, where a Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 P.M.
