Joseph Edward Price, 87, of Coral Springs, FL passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. Joe was born September 1, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Lillian (Richardson) Price. Joe was a proud WWII veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was discharged in 1946. It was at this time he began his career with the New York City Police Department, retiring at the rank of Detective 1st Grade. Joe then began his second career as Chief of Security for Lufthansa Airlines. In 1991, Joe and Agatha retired to Coral Springs, FL. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Agatha His children, Barbara (Jay) Gart, Joseph (Mary) Price, Maureen (Warren) D'Angelo, Kenneth (Linda) Price, Douglas (Joann) Price, Donna Austin, and Joann (William) Miller 17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his grandson, Shaun D'Angelo. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL.
