Joseph P. McHugh, 83, of Coral Springs Florida entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 28, 2024. He is survived by his children Darlene, Kathleen, Laureen, and Joseph. Also left to cherish his memory are his 6 grandchildren, William, TracyAnn, Pierce, Owen, Amy, and Cole. Preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Ann.

Joe was born on January 27, 1941 in Jersey City, New Jersey to his parents Patrick and Mary. Joe and Mary Ann were childhood sweethearts and were married on August 4, 1962. Soon after, they began building their family. Joe worked several jobs and received his Accounting degree from Seton Hall University. In 1971, they moved to Sayreville, New Jersey where all four children were raised. Joe worked locally as a Controller. In 1993, Joe and Mary Ann moved to Coral Springs, Florida fulfilling their lifelong dream.

Joe will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather as well as a helpful neighbor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved coaching them in sports. Joe had an incredible love for all animals including a stray cat, named Marshmellow. He will be missed by all.

Joe's Celebration of Life will take place on March 15, 2024 from 6-8PM at Joe's house - 5609 NW 109 Lane, Coral Springs, FL 33076.
