Joseph Michael Ianzano, 19, of Coconut Creek, FL died August 16, 2014 unexpectedly in a tragic accident. Joey was born on June 16, 1995 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Despite the curve balls life threw at him, Joey had an uncanny ability to come out of any situation with a goofy smile on his face-- and that smile was always a contagious one. If his presence alone wasn't enough to make you smile, he would always find another way. Until his last day, Joey always put his friends' and family's needs and well-being before his own. He made it his business to help everyone else around him in any way he could. He had an incredibly kind and giving spirit, almost to a fault. Joey enjoyed everything about the outdoors and nature, especially fishing. A country music enthusiast, he loved a good concert and tailgate. You would be hard-pressed not to find him clad in camouflage as he pulled up to your house in his big truck. His crazy lifted truck would have taken him to his first day of college to study to be a firefighter in one weeks time. Joey is survived by his father, Michael Ianzano; grandparents, Barbara Ianzano and Joseph Ianzano; aunt, Barbara Rodberg; cousins Gregory Dunn, Alisha Dunn, and Joseph Rodberg; and his dog Jersey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Yanko, and his great grandmothers Nora Cappadona and Anna Ianzano.
