Joseph Christopher Hettich, 51, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2017 leaving family and friends heartbroken. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA before taking a road trip with his best friend and brother, Frank, that landed them in South Florida. Joe settled in Margate, FL where he began a family of his own.

Blessed with a generous heart and hardworking hands, Joe gave all he had to his family and friends. His sarcastic sense of humor kept the jokes rolling and his happy-go-lucky attitude let him roll with life's curve balls. In his spare time Joe enjoyed sketching and playing softball. A perfect day was boating and fishing with a cold beer in hand and Frank by his side.

Survived by his children, Jessica Hettich and Joe Hettich; siblings, Elizabeth, Maryann, Joanne, and Donna; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, 1 niece and 8 nephews; sister in law Ginger Hettich and his former wife, Linda Vataha. Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Frank, and his parents, Frank and Joan Hettich. S

A Memorial Fundraiser will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at G.W. Sharkey's in Coral Springs.
