Jose Richards, 68, of Deerfield Beach, FL. passed into eternal rest on Friday, February 25, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Ines Richards, and their children Fabian Richards, Julian Richards, and Sheyla Richards. He will be missed by his four grandchildren, Soraya and Elias from his firstborn son Fabian Richards, and Juliana and Jaxon, from his second son. His only surviving sibling is Winston Maloney with whom he shared a close bond.

Jose was born on Monday, May 4, 1953 in Panama City, Panama to parents Anita Smith and Joseph Richards. After graduating high school, he moved to Brooklyn, New York where he attended City College of New York, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He married his sweetheart and fellow Panamanian, Ines Richards, on Wednesday, May 25, 1977 before leaving behind the cold of New York and settling in sunny South Florida. The family grew to include three children and four grandchildren who cherished and loved him dearly. Above all, one of the greatest examples he set for his family was his love for Jesus.  He desired for all those he knew to come to know the Lord and sought to help them grow in relationship with Christ.
