Jose Sergio Pagni, 76, of Tamarac, FL passed on Friday, January 10, 2014 after a long illness. Jose was born October 3, 1937 in Brazil to Guiseppe and Ida Pagni. Sergio moved to Queens, NY in 1981 with his young family. They found themselves in South Florida 15 years later. An outdoorsman at heart, Sergio loved camping, fishing, diving and anything nature related. He was a devoted son, caring for his mom for many years before she passed away. Sergio was also a wonderful partner and husband for 46 years and a loving, hardworking father. Sergio is survived by his beloved wife, Valquiria Pagni; their children, Marcio Pagni and Patricia Pagni-Antunez; and his grandchildren, Kevin and Nicholas Antunez. He was preceded in death by his 5 siblings, Osmar, Odoni, Oreste, Ophelia, and Oswaldo. Friends may come from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Monday, January 13, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 P.M.
