Johnny A. Ficarotta, 92, of Orangeburg NY entered into rest at the Miami VA Hospital on January 29th, 2017. Born on July 31st, 1924 to Natale and Phyllis Ficarotta in Manhattan, NY Johnny lived a life full of love and honor. He served his country in World War II and went on to marry Helen, the love of his life, and raise his children and love his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Helen Ficarotta; His children Ronnie Ficarotta, John Gary Ficarotta, and Lorrain Ficarotta-Rosa; and his grandchildren Jessica Ficarotta, Sydney Ficarotta, and Dylan Ficarotta. He will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with a wake service at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery, 2:00pm, lane #5.
