John M. Rodriguez, 87, of Margate, FL passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, FL. John was born on Friday, February 11, 1927 in Lares, Puerto Rico to Juan and Marianna. John loved to watch sports, especially the Florida Marlins and the Miami Heat. He also loved the game of billiards and was quite the pool player, often sharing his talent with family and friends. John loved to socialize, making friends everywhere he went and was known as the "Mayor" of Margate Manor where he lived. His true love was his family and especially cherished his granddaughters. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his daughter Janet, brother Richard and sister Alicia. He is survived by his 3 Children: Doris Francese & husband Dominick, Laurie Woodman & husband Bob, John David & wife Sherri. 2 Grandchildren: Jessica and Melanie. 2 Nieces: Yvonne, Sabrina 2 Nephews: Michael, John A Memorial Service will take place 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 27th, 2014 at Savino Weissman Funeral Home in Margate, FL officiated by Father Matthew of St. Vincent Catholic Church.
