John J. Maginnis Jr., of Parkland, FL died unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2018. He was 46. Born to John and Lorraine Maginnis on July 14, 1971 in Staten Island, NY, he relocated to Coral Springs, FL in 1986, where he attended Coral Springs High School.

John was a loving person, with a kind and giving heart. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and watching sports, especially football. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his son, John Dylan Maginnis of Miami, FL; sisters, Jodi Wickey of Indian Trail, NC, Tara (Greg) Stanley of Vero Beach, FL, Shana (George) Milano of Parkland, FL and Kerry (Eddie) Zaluski of Vero Beach, FL; nephews Vincent Foster, Shane Welsh, Mason Wickey, Carter Wickey, Liam Stanley, Edward Zaluski and his only niece, Olivia Milano.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
