Joanne Edwards, 71, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 12th, 2020.  She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Majkiewicz and Renee Mancini and her son Robert Edwards, as well as their respective spouses Paul Majkiewicz, Anthony Mancini and Lisa Edwards.  She was the beloved grandmother of Anthony Majkiewicz, Jillian Majkiewicz, Gianna Edwards and Jordan Mancini.

Joanne was born on July 2nd, 1948 to Joseph and Elizabeth Pirhacs in Staten Island, New York.  She attended New Dorp High School.  She was married to Robert McGurrin and resided in New Dorp until his demise in 1968.  Joanne moved to Miami, Florida in 1995 and was employed as an import/export clerk for a large shipping company under her retirement in 2013.  She then relocated to Coral Springs to spend more time with her family.

Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and doted on her grandchildren.  She was excitedly awaiting the birth of her first great grandchild, due to arrive in September to her grandson Anthony and wife Nicole.  Joanne's soul was filled with love, kindness and generosity and she will be dearly missed by all.
