Deaconess Jenny Williams, 78, of Plainfield, New Jersey went home to her Lord on August 10, 2015 in Coral Springs, FL. Born October 13, 1936 in Wickham, West Virginia to Samuel and Mamie Brown, Jenny was the oldest of six children.

After graduating from Stratton High School in Beckley, West Virginia, she moved to Detroit, Michigan for work. Deaconess Williams moved to Plainfield, New Jersey and met her husband of 39 years, Eugene Williams (deceased). She was a stay at home mother raising five children and volunteering at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield for five years. The hospital offered her a job where she worked mainly in labor and delivery for 28 years until her retirement.

Deaconess Jenny was a faithful member of Holiness Temple Church in Plainfield, New Jersey and Lake Worth, Florida. She came to the church in 1977 and was baptized into Christ, February 24, 1978 and received into fellowship on March 5, 1978. She served as a dedicated Deaconess, Usher and Senior Choir member. She was always ready to volunteer, assisting in whatever capacity needed in the church. Deaconess Jenny gave to every missionary cause and building project over the years. She was always involved with her whole heart. She was a defender of the gospel of Jesus Christ and loyal to her Pastor and church. She was a voracious reader of her Bible, newspapers and biographies that kept her informed in the natural and the spiritual.

Deaconess Williams had a great sense of humor. She was a nurturer and giver of her time and resources. She was a phenomenal mother who taught kindness by example. She was quite a quite a dresser and traveler. Her love of singing began at the age of two and followed her to the end of her life here on earth.

Deaconess Williams leaves to cherish her memory four children, Sherry (David) Williams Reece, Faron (Lorraine) Williams, Shan (Joyce) Williams and Deborah Williams; her grandchildren, Dione Reece, David Reece II, Faron Williams, Jr., Cornelius Williams, Candace Williams, Shenoah Williams, Shanze Williams and Shan Williams, Jr.; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Emma (William) Taylor, Robert (Cal Sue) Brown, Samuel Brown, Jr., and Donna (John) Cheatwood and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her Pastor, Bishop Dr. Elaine A. Brown and Holiness Temple Church members. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey and sister Evonne Brown.
