Jennifer Elizabeth Babicz, 31, of Coral Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2015. Born on December 21, 1983 in Palos Heights, IL to Jerry and Joyce Babicz, the family has made South Florida their home since 1994. Jen is survived by her parents, Jerry and Joyce Babicz; her sister, Jamie (Mark) Schabacker; nephews, McRae and Grant Schabacker; and her aunts and uncles, John Fitzingo, Ted Babicz, Alice Schranz, Larry Babicz, and Christine Jumbeck. She was predeceased by her uncle, Joseph Fitzingo; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A young, vibrant woman full of hope and light, she found joy in helping others. Jen regularly sent care packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and also supported the U.S. Marine Corps and Wounded Warriors Project. She was training with doctors to complete her biomedical technician internship. Jen was also a very talented model and makeup consultant, and she maintained the position of Executive Director for a publishing company. Jen rescued Dachshunds and loved her Callie, Amber, Dakota, and Kayla. She loved nature, wildlife, hummingbirds, dancing and music. She had a powerful, artistic, and sensitive spirit, which she expressed through stories, photography and makeup artistry. Jen could also throw a 3-pointer at half court and loved hockey. A deeply compassionate, multi-talented person, she was a healer with a fun-filled sense of humor. Jen's love and loyalty for her family was immeasurable and her faith in God was strong.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Jen will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. For those attending the burial, please meet the family in the parking lot of the main office by the main gate of the cemetery.
