Jean was born to the late Belinda and Harry Erriar, a homemaker and building contractor respectively, in Detroit, Michigan on January 6, 1931. She was the youngest of five children,
Florence (Errair) Hader, Helen (Errair) Sabo, William Errair and Kenneth Errair.
She attended Redford High School in Detroit, Mi, and at 19 years old she married Albert (Kirk) Martin on August 19, 1950. She proceeded to work for a Dentist and became a comptometrist for Sears & Robuck. January 2, 1955, they welcomed their daughter, Vickie and on November 13, 1958, they welcomed their son Kenny. Jean & Albert moved from Detroit to Livonia, Mi in 1956 and in August of 1974 they located to Plantation, Florida.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Vickie & husband Tim Garza; son Kenny & wife Ellen Martin and her six grandchildren; Natalie & Andres Healy, Tim Garza (Jr), Ashley Martin, Casey Martin, and Alexis Martin, also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert (Kirk) Martin who went home to be with the LORD on December 4, 2012, waiting with arms wide open for his beautiful wife.

Jean will be buried with her husband, Albert, at the South Florida National Cemetary, Palm Beach County.
