James Edward Ferger was born on May 11, 1957 in Brooklyn to James Disbury and Barbara Siber; one of 10 children. At the age of 2, Jim was adopted by his mother's husband, Edward Ferger. James married his sweetheart, Maria, in East Northport, NY and together they raised 3 beautiful children. In the late 1990's, part of the family relocated to South Florida.

Jim was an extremely hard worker and owned Road Ranger Trucking, Inc. It was very important to him to be able to provide for his family and often worked long hours, day after day to ensure his family had all their needs met. Sadly, he was unexpectedly taken from us to join the angels in Heaven on June 23, 2013 at the age of 56.

He leaves his beloved wife, Maria; sons, Jimmy (fiance, Desiree) and George; daughter, Rosemarie; grandsons, Jimmy and Jacob; granddaughter, Lisa; and 9 brothers and sisters to cherish his memory.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Coral Springs, Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements are entrusted to Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
