James "J.B." Davis passed away on April 8, 2013 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He was born on January 10, 1930 to the late Verner and Grace Davis in Ashland City, TN. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 10 years. Upon his discharge, he married the love of his life, Gemma. Together they had four children, Raymond, Mark, Tina Marie, and Wendy. The Davis family traveled the world with J.B. for his career as a Marine Superintendent for Oil Rigs. Eventually, they settled in Margate, FL where J.B. enjoyed his job with HCI as a truck driver. J.B. had a true passion for his family, golf, his dogs Truffles and Daisy, and taking care of the stray cats behind HCI. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gemma; his children, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. On Friday, April 12, 2013 at 12:30PM a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home, Margate, FL. The family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Humane Society.
