Jim Austin, 64, of Coral Springs Florida, was unexpectedly lost on March 3rd 2025. Jim was a loving son, husband, and father and is preceded in death by his dad Merrell Tanner and his father in law Hans Lochmann. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Kristy, son Trevor, daughters Amber and Amy and their families, his mother Sally Tanner, his Father James Austin Senior, his stepmother Pam Austin, and brothers Keith Austin and Shannon Tanner and their families. He's also survived by his mother in law Ruth Lochmann, his brother in law Erik Lochmann and family, his aunts, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and family.

Jim's unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. He led a joyful life full of love and music and always had a smile or a joke ready for everyone he met. To know Jim was to be his friend. Jim's gregarious personality filled every room he entered. He had so much life left to live and love to spread. He was taken far too soon and will be missed by everyone in his life. The love Jim had for everyone around him is the only thing bigger than his love for the Miami Dolphins and Alabama football, Roll Tide. Alabama has lost its most ardent and dedicated fan. His love for music filled his and Kristy's home nightly and the silence his absence leaves will forever be felt.
