Ivan Alexander Parra, 23, of Coral Springs, FL went to his eternal resting place on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Ivan was born October 28, 1990 in West Palm Beach, FL to Ivan Parra and Gail Holding Parra. Ivan was a young man that was proud of his Venezuelan heritage, loved to spend time at the beach and was a movie buff. An extremely passionate person, he was blessed with a good heart that was full of love for his family, especially his brothers and sister. Ivan is survived by his mother, Gail Frances Parra; his father and step-mother, Ivan R. (Angela) Parra; and his siblings, Evan Parra, Ian Parra, James Tortora, and Alexa Parra. Ivan also leaves his grandparents, Cristina Toledo, Elvidio (Ligia) Parra, Sandra Holding, and John & Carolyn Nimtz; his aunts and uncles, Isabel Parra, Faridt Londono, Julie Crocco, Neil Holding and Keith Holding; and his cousins, Peter Crocco, Michael Crocco, Isabella Londono, Austin Holding and Adrianna Holding to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Peter Holding. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a Wake Service being held during those hours. At 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 27, 2014, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Ivan's memory.
