Obituary

Henry Pendl was born on March 18, 1928 in St. Charles, IL to Henry and Mabel Pendl. Upon the completion of High School, Henry joined the United States Army where he earned the rank of Sergeant First Class and was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart. He also served with the Merchant Marines and the National Guard. His working life found him in a soap making factory where he was a stillman. Henry married Lillian Talafous and together they had three children, Carolyn, Patty, and Hank. Henry and Lil retired to South Florida and were joined by their son. Henry could be often found in the lanes of Brunswick Bowling or out fishing. He was an avid reader and frequented the library as well. Henry is survived by his wife, Lillian; children, Carolyn (Ken), Patty (Doug), Hank (Yasmine); and grandchildren, Michael, Rose, Joshua, Laura, Jacob, Deanna, Carrie, Chuck, and Danielle. Henry also leaves his beloved great grandchildren, Gabby, Emily, Allie and Joey, to cherish his memory. Henry will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery. The date and time are to be determined.
