Obituary

Harold Albert Diaz, 36, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, Sept 25, 2014 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Harold was born on Friday, February 24, 1978 in Flower Fifth Hospital in Manhattan, New York to Jorge Diaz and Aida Diaz. Harold had a very calm and sweet soul. He would do anything for anyone. He had a beautiful smile and a laugh that would make others laugh as well. He had a zest for life, loved to go hunting, fishing, surfing and loved to cook for others. He was very loving to his family and friends. So many friends loved him. He especially had compassion, such a good listener. Anyone he met, he would speak with them and wanted to know more about them and their lives. He recently traveled to visit a friend in St. Petersburg, Florida. He had an amazing time and cherished those moments. He also visited his sister and family in South Carolina. He enjoyed his time with his nieces who loved him dearly. When his nieces were asked what they remember most of TIO and they said "the way he cared about me and how he loves me". Harold was attentive to his father calling him checking up on him. Spending time playing billiards with him getting together with his family making our signature Argentinian and Bolivian dishes. He adored his mother who he has said "she has done everything for me" . He would call her all the time and always helped her in anyway he could. Harold was a hard worker. He was a carpenter. He was busy working on his latest project renovating a half way house facility that helped others. After work, Harold would also renovate his mother's new home. To My Son, "From the day you were born, you were so special. So Smart. So Sensitive, so good. It was fun to be with you.... Harold, you are loved and missed. You left this earth to soon and had so much more love to give. Heaven welcomes you with open arms. We know you are here today and will be with us in spirit always. We love you. Harold is survived by his mother and father, Aida Diaz of Delray Beach, FL and Jorge Diaz of Coral Springs, FL; his sister, Alexis DeMayo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews.
