Gloria J. Mills, 82, of Margate, Florida passed away on July 18, 2020. She is survived by her children, Andrea Arel of Mt. Dora, Florida, Scott Arel of Hollywood, Florida, Lynne Choate of Cary, NC and Andre Arel of Rochester, Minnesota. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, David Mattison and Michael Choate of Cary, NC, Melissa Sokol of Hollywood, Florida and Andre River Arel of Mt. Dora and two great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Brandon of Hollywood, Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judi Arel.

Gloria was born to Ford Mills and Eva Foster in Massena, NY. Gloria resided in South Florida for over 60 years. She first lived on South Beach in Miami and eventually spent many years in Miramar, Florida where she raised her five children. Gloria was an entrepreneur and worked hard to build her successful business. She was fiercely independent and a passionate conservative. She made it her mission to educate everyone about the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights and how precious our freedom is. She was feisty and chose to live life on her terms until her final breath. She would have had it no other way.

She was very much loved by her family and the memory of her laughter will always bring back warm memories of a life well lived.
