Gerard L. Giordano, 77, of Coral Springs, FL died on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Gerard was born on March 1, 1937 in Jamaica, NY to Leonard and Norma Giordano. In 1965, Jerry moved from Queens to South Florida where he began working for an auto service station. In 1969, he opened Jerry's Complete Auto Service in Lauderdale Lakes, FL which he operated until his retirement in 2009. A gentleman with a big heart, his favorite pastimes were fishing and riding his Harley. Jerry is survived by his life partner of 40 years, Sandra Theodore; his sisters, Judith Held and Lucille Zevens; and his step-children, Kelly (Pete) Foster and Thomas Theodore. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gilcrest. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Lutheran Ministry in Christ Church.
