George Anthony Neile, of Margate, FL, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at the age of 83. He was born on Wednesday, September 30, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Anthony and Theresa. George lived in Trenton, NJ, for the first few years of his life, and then returned to Brooklyn where he met and married his first wife, Mary. He and his young family moved to Long Island in the mid-1960s. In 1975, Mary, the mother of his four children, passed away. In 1979, George married his second wife, Carol Locascio. In the early 1980s, they moved to South Florida. Carol passed away in 2012. George served in the United States Navy, and was honorably discharged in 1955. He joined the New York City Police Department where he served for 20 years until his retirement in 1976. He is survived by his son, Tom, and his wife, Caren; by his daughter, Donna, and her family, Rich, Danielle, Tim and Mia; by his daughter, Marie; by his daughter, Jennifer, and her family, Mike, Courtney and Ashley; by his granddaughter, Julie, and her family, Javier, Larry, Isabella and Marlon.
