Genevieve Berezny, 90, of Coral Springs, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Genevieve was born September 18, 1923 in Passaic, NJ to Adalbert and Anna Golinski. Genevieve was a bubbly woman with an incredible smile, signature baby blue eyes, and a great sense of humor. She loved photography, dancing, and was an excellent seamstress. She was a mother to everyone and always had your best interest in sight. A wonderfully kind soul, she always put her family first. Genevieve married Peter Berezny in 1946 and together they had started a family in New Jersey. She remained there until Peter's death in 2003, at which time she moved to Coral Springs to be with her daughter and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Knowles and Linda Prince; and her grandchildren, Courtney & Gregory Knowles and Amanda Prince. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 7, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Coral Springs.
