In Loving Memory of Evelyne Solon, April 8th, 1943 – April 27th, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Evelyne Solon, on April 27th, 2024, at her home in Coral Springs, with her children by her side.

Evelyne, or Vivine as we all called her, was born on April 8th, 1943 in Port Au Prince, Haiti to Edner and Margot Ricot. She grew up in Port Au Prince and later moved to New York City where she lived for many years and later moved to Florida to join the rest of her siblings.

Vivine is survived by her daughter Karla Solon, and sons Reginald Solon and Sandro Solon, and her four grandchildren, Olivier, Alexandre, Shamakae and Josie. She is also survived by her siblings, Nerma Prezeau, Claudette Limousin, Alix Jacques Ricot, Gina Cuvilly, Micheline Egalite, Florence Cadet, Marilyn Ricot, and an array of nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she loved dearly. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.

Vivine was known for her generous heart and for being a great friend to all. When she had, you had. She brought joy and happiness to everyone around her with her sense of humor and compassion.

We are grateful for the love and joy she brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever live in our hearts.
