Evelyn Harris of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on September 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 14,1940 in Bradshaw, West Virginia to late Farley and Esley Couch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her four daughters, Charles DeAngelis as well as her stepson, Michael Harris.

She is survived by: her husband of 38 years, Walter Harris; her daughters, Christina (Paul) Adams, Susan (Michael) Plemons, Regina (Robert) Barth, Patricia (David) Thompson; her grandchildren, Angela Matchen, Jewell Matchen, Johnna Swanfeld, Laura (Dan) Giraldo, Jamie (Nick) Primer, Julie Thompson, Jay Adams, Berynn Barth, Lauren Adams; her 18 great grandchildren; her two brothers, Henry (Sue) Couch, Arnie (Anna) Couch; her sister Shirley Watts and nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was a strong and resilient woman with a nurturing heart who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a rewarding career as a medical assistant and loved taking care of her patients. She cherished her family and was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Evelyn adored animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time in the sunshine, gardening and appreciating the tranquility in nature.
