Esther Vazquez, 77, of Hollywood, FL passed away on June 23, 2016. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Benjamin and Mercedes Cruz on March 9, 1939. Esther relocated to Staten Island, NY where she remained for 55 years before retiring to South Florida to be with her children.

A talented seamstress, she loved sewing and also crocheting. She was a religious woman and read her bible daily. Esther loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Esther is survived by her children, Evelyn, Adam, Millie, Rosita (David) Hubert, and Santiago Vazquez; 20 grandchildren; her sister, Judy Eberhardt; and many extended family members.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. Esther will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Peter Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
