Enrique Ernesto Quintela, 61, of Coral Springs, FL passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Born in Salto, Uruguay to Ruben and Elba Quintela, he relocated to South Florida with his family in 1994, so his children can have better opportunities in life.

Enrique was very outgoing and blessed with a fantastic sense of humor. He taught his children how to be kind, selfless, hard working and to always respect others. His kindness and love extended far beyond his family to neighbors and co-workers. Enrique also loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. Basketball was his all time favorite sport and one that he continued playing well into his thirties.

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Pipper; children, Maria (Jason) Wilson and Gabriel (Samantha) Quintela; and his grandchild, Quinn Wilson. Also left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Ruben Jose Quintela, Maria Angelica Menoni, and Susana Julia Gelpi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:30 P.M. Enrique will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
