She was preceded in death by Anthony Mazzeo, her husband, whom she was married to for 63 years and the love of her life. Ellen was born on February 22, 1936 in Oceanside, Long Island, New York to her parents, William Davenport Wright and Wilhemenia Moran Wright, where she grew up. Her grandfather, Davenport Deb Wright, was the first known year-round resident and settlor of Long Beach.
Once married, Anthony and Ellen moved to Wantagh, New York, had their family, and they resided there until they moved to Sunrise, Florida in 1978.
Ellen would do anything for her family and anyone that she met. She was loved immensely by everyone who met her. She loved to crochet, needlepoint, bake, especially at Christmas time, do puzzles and go to Disney but most of all spend her time with her family, and she especially loved snuggling and laying in bed with her grandchildren.
