Elizabeth Nicotra, 78, of Tamarac, FL passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton. Elizabeth was born on July 7, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, to Evangelis and Mary Perlingos. Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Peter and Lenny Nicotra; her brother, Apostolos Perlingos; and her beautiful grandchildren, Alessandra, Gabriela, Gloria, Christopher, Daniel, Elizabeth, and Leonard. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maryann Nicotra-Chupp; and her husband, Leonard Nicotra. She will be remembered for being an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends may call on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service celebrated at 7:30 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. At 10:00 A.M. a graveside committal service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
