Elisabeth "Betty" Steiner, of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away at North Broward Medical Center on January 25, 2013 at the age of 75. Betty is predeceased by her mother and father, Mabel and Georg Steiner. Betty is survived by her loving husband Giorgio of 37 years. Betty is lovingly remembered by her husband Giorgio; her two sons and daughter-in-laws Alberto and Ginna Tassanelli and Gianmarco and Araceli Tassanelli; her brothers Robert, Norman, and Jack; her sisters Daisy, Joyce, and Ilka; her two grandchildren Isabella and Valentino Tassanelli; and loving nieces, nephews, and all of the extended family. Betty was born in Fortaleza, Brazil on December 25, 1937. She lived in Rio de Janeiro before moving to Miami, FL with her husband Giorgio to start her own travel business. Betty enjoyed traveling, taking care of her grandchildren, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The visitation service will be held at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6-8 with a wake service at 7pm. Family viewing will start at 5:30pm.
