Elisa Diaz, 86, of Sunrise, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 23 ^rd , 2020.  She is survived by her daughters Grace Perez and Olga Diaz and her son Walter Diaz, as well as their respective spouses Luis Perez, Aseneth Jaramillo and Mariana Cieri. She was the beloved grandmother of Andrew Perez, Nicholas Perez, Nathalie Perez, Brianna Diaz and Sabrina Diaz and great-grandmother of Ryan McNally and Emilia McNally.

Elisa was born on August 29 ^th to Heraclides Pereyra and Matilde Gutierrez in Argentina. She was married to Ramon Diaz and resided in Buenos Aires. Elisa moved to New York in 1989.  She then relocated to Florida and was incredibly happy to reside in the sunshine state, close to all her family.

Elisa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an example of perseverance and courage. Fighting her disease for 20 years, she was always steadfast in her faith and positive attitude . Elisa's soul was filled with love, kindness and generosity and she will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration will be held at a later date, where we can celebrate beautiful Elisa's legacy appropriately.
