Eleanor Russo (Musumeci), 69, of Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2015 following a 3 month battle with cancer in which she never lost her spirit.

Eleanor was born Saturday, May 19, 1945 in Vincennes, IN to the late Frank and Josephine (Arcuri) Musumeci. Eleanor spent her childhood growing up in the Bronx, NY and Miami, FL.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 47 years, Paul Russo, Sr. and children Stephanie Russo Zaragoza (Douglas) of Tampa, FL and Paul Russo, Jr. (Stephanie) of Lake Worth, FL. Ellie adored her three grandchildren, Joseph, Connor and Ryan and they will miss her dearly.

Ellie was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She was a comforter, a warm embrace, a woman of wisdom and much laughter. She could light up a room with her smile. Her enthusiasm and energy to have a good time was contagious. Her love for life, her laughter and joy, her loving and caring soul will remain in our hearts for as long as we live.
