Born on January 16, 1937, to parents- Antonio Santiago and Ana Luisa Semorile, Place of birth Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Graduated from George Washington High School in Washington Heights, NY in 1955.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960, where he served 3 years in Paris, France at the then NATO HeadQuarters. He worked at The Endicott-Johnson Shoe Company as an Export/Import Agent from 1960-1962 and then worked for H. Muehlstein & Co., Inc. also as an Export/Import Agent for 37 years from 1963-2000 from where he retired and moved to Coconut Creek , FL.

He was married to Ada Rivera for 18 years and has two children (Lena & Edward). He then remarried again in 2019 to Juana Alcocer.

Eddie was a fun loving jokester who was a great conversationalist who was able to intelligently speak about many subjects. He often told people "I can't hardly wait until tomorrow." Where he would respond to them when they ask why? "Because I get better looking everyday." He enjoyed playing golf early in his retirement where he would hack around the course and unbelievably had 2 "hole in ones" He will be most remembered for being a loving and dedicated Father and Grandfather.
