IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy "Dottie"
Bouffard
July 1, 1931 – April 1, 2021
Dorothy "Dottie" Bouffard(Schultz) passed away peacefully in her sleep at home just 11 days after her beloved husband of 71 and a half years, "Whitey" died. Born in New Hyde Park, New York, she was the oldest of three children, sister Eileen and brother Jack. She married Joseph "Whitey" Bouffard in 1949. During her early years, Dottie worked at the New York telephone company as a switchboard operator. When Whitey was in the Army and stationed in Germany, Dottie took a ship overseas and spent 2 years there to be closer to her husband. Upon returning to the US, Whitey's career took them from New York to Pennsylvania where they raised their family, daughter Linda and son Joseph. While being a full time mom and housewife, Dottie held a part time job as a telephone operator at Reedmans Auto World for 23 years. A short time after they both retired in 1995, Dottie and Whitey moved to Pompano Beach, FL as full time residents.
