Donna Jean Schroy, born August 16,1966 of Coral Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Brett A. Schroy of Coral Springs, FL; daughters, Rachael S. Foley of Nashville, TN and Rebecca L. Foley of Lafayette, LA; son Ryan K. Schroy from Coral Springs, FL; father, Donald L. Ott Sr and mother, Patricia J. Ott (Browning) from Port St. Lucie, FL; and brother Donald L. Ott Jr of Frisco, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her grandfather Ernest F. Browning, her grandmother Virginia L. Povkov and step-grandfather Phillip Povkov; grandfather Dayton Ott and grandmother Aileen Ott.

Donna was born and raised in St. Charles, MO. As a young girl she loved to play outside and enjoyed going to school at Monroe Elementary. She graduated from St. Charles West High school where she was a participant on the schools dance and drill team. In 1984, she served as co-captain to her dance and drill team where they won the State Championship. After high school, Donna received her nursing degree from Southeast Missouri State (SEMO). During her time at SEMO she pledged Tri Delta Sorority and joined the universities dance team.

Donna started her career as a home health nurse and held many nursing positions throughout her career. Most notably as a nurse case manager at Marriott Cooperation. Her colleagues and patients knew Donna as a hard working, warm-hearted and dedicated nurse.

Beyond all her titles she was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend to so many. She enjoyed lounging at the beach, taking boat rides and spending time with family. Donna will be remembered for her generous spirit, infectious smile and her ability to see the positive in any situation.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Little Pink Houses of Hope. A celebration will be held at a later date, where we can celebrate beautiful Donna's legacy appropriately.
