In Loving Memory of Donald A. Tomlinson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Tomlinson of Tamarac, Florida on November 27, 2024.  A beloved father, brother, and friend, who left us at the age of 79. Born and raised in Westmoreland Jamaica, Donald dedicated his life to his family and his craft as a Painter and later as a Marine Cabinetry and Finishing Technician, a profession he excelled in with pride and dedication, he was often sought out for his expert hand at delivering excellent work on elegant yachts and boats.

Donald was one of ten siblings, and he is predeceased by one brother. He is survived by his eight remaining siblings, 6 brothers and 2 sisters, who will forever cherish the memories they shared. His legacy lives on through his six children and many grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

Throughout his life, Donald was known for his unwavering work ethic, his kindness, and his ability to bring people together over food. His wisdom was a guiding light for many. He was a man of integrity, whose hands not only built and repaired but also comforted and supported those in need.  Donald had a passion for cooking, often delighting his family and friends with his culinary creations. He also had a knack for finding creative solutions to around-the-house projects, always eager to lend a hand and share his expertise.

Donald will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. As we say goodbye, we remember the love, the lessons, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Donald. Your journey on this earth may have ended, but your impact will be felt for generations to come.
