Diane Monique Bazinet, 57, of Margate, FL passed away on April 11, 2016 at Northwest Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Lewiston, ME on August 9, 1958 to Maurice and the late Rita (Meservier) Bazinet. Diane attended Lewiston schools and graduated from University of Maine at Farmington as a Dietary Technician. She worked in the diet office at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center for many years until moving to Florida. Diane began her career in Florida at Imperial Point Hospital and retired from Manor Care of Boca Raton. She had great pride in her work and felt it an honor to be part of her patient's lives.

Diane is survived by her beloved son, Jonathan Williamson of Margate, FL; her father, Maurice Bazinet of Lewiston, ME; brother, Ronald Bazinet of Auburn, ME; brother and sister-in-law, Moe and Dottie Bazinet of Turner, ME; brother, Marc Bazinet of Greene, ME; her dear friend Diane Ford of Bucksport, ME; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and close friends both in Florida and Maine.

Diane found great joy in spending time with family and friends, especially entertaining at home. She enjoyed many vacations at her timeshare in Florida and visiting Maine. She will be sadly missed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 P.M. Diane will be laid to rest with her mother at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston, ME on a date to be determined.
